Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Buyer/Planner to join our Procurement Team in South Chicago.
We provide industrial lifting solutions, including equipment, OSHA compliance inspections, and aftermarket services. We take pride in delivering high-quality products while maintaining safety and efficiency.
As a Buyer/Planner, you’ll handle purchasing and inventory management to keep operations running smoothly. Your focus will be sourcing raw materials, managing stock levels, and ensuring timely deliveries. Strong organizational skills and supply chain knowledge are key.
Maintain inventory levels and place orders as needed.
Review purchase requests and generate purchase orders.
Track shipments and follow up with vendors on deliveries.
Keep accurate records of purchases and pricing.
Provide regular updates to the sales and operations teams.
Work closely with suppliers to forecast and plan inventory needs.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
Experience: 5+ years in purchasing or planning.
Education: Bachelor's in business or supply chain or military experience with Supply Chain or demonstrated experience(preferred).
Software: Proficient with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of EPR software
Direct purchasing experience of raw materials for manufacturing
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of purchasing principles and inventory management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
