Job summary

MicroAire is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage suppliers, purchase materials, and ensure production teams have what they need, when they need it. The role requires onsite work in Charlottesville, VA and may involve up to 10% travel to support suppliers across time zones.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of buying or material planning experience, ERP proficiency (Epicor preferred), and strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) to drive cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of buying, procurement, or material planning experience.
• ERP experience required; Epicor is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery, and purchasing terms.
• Manage purchase orders, material planning, and inventory using an ERP system.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve shortages, delivery delays, and quality issues.
• Use Excel and supply chain data to identify savings and improve processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
