Job summary

Masiello Employment Services is seeking a Buyer/Planner for our Athol, MA client. The role focuses on procuring materials, planning schedules, and optimizing inventory to support operations.

Requirements include an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), 2-3 years of related experience, and strong MS Office and MRP system skills (Oracle or SAP). Competitive benefits and a $65-95k salary, depending on experience, are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills; attention to detail.
• MS Office proficiency and understanding of MRP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred).
• APICS or CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, components, equipment, supplies, and services.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor goods and services using JIT, Kanban, Blanket POs, and Reschedules.
• Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining inventory.
• Develop and support sourcing and supplier management initiatives.
• Maintain data in the MRP/ERP system.
• Track KPIs and support Lean and EHS activities.
• Other tasks as assigned.
