Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) in Peterborough, NH is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its manufacturing purchasing team. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring materials and components are available to support production, with close collaboration across Production, Warehouse and Supply Chain.

You will create and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier delivery dates, evaluate new suppliers, support pricing negotiations and maintain accurate purchasing records to sustain manufacturing schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Buyer/Purchasing professional, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong supplier relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage purchase orders and delivery schedules.
• Understanding of inventory management and material requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

We are supporting a well-established manufacturer in Peterborough, NH looking to add an experienced Buyer to its purchasing team.

Salary: Up to $90,000

The Role:

This is a hands-on, tactical purchasing position responsible for ensuring materials and components are available to support production.

You will work closely with suppliers, Production, Warehouse and the wider Supply Chain team to manage purchasing requirements from order placement through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience purchasing raw materials or components within manufacturing would be particularly valuable, although candidates from other inventory-led purchasing environments will also be considered.
