Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Buyer to support the Buying Team in expanding the catalog, setting up new vendors and items, and managing pricing and product content. You will coordinate launches, maintain catalogs and images, and foster strong vendor relations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Buyer experience with Coupa/Infor or ERP platforms, solid Excel analytics, and excellent communication skills; Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Buyer experience with Coupa, Infor, or ERP platforms.
• 5+ years of analytics experience using Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items.
• Maintain product catalog, pricing, content and images.
• Support new product launch coordination and vendor relations.
• Provide training/support as backup to Control Buyer.

Job Description

The Buyer will assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog and managing pricing. Job responsibilities include new product launch & coordination, maintaining product cost, retail price, content and images, vendor relations, and assisting with special projects. Additional responsibilities include supporting and training as a backup to Control Buyer.

Successful candidates will be highly organized, self motivated, detail oriented and have strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point). An understanding of data management and databases is also a plus. The candidate must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must.
