Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a procurement professional to source, evaluate and select vendors, issue purchase orders for medium-dollar value items linked to USG and non-USG contracts, and manage lifecycle from quote to delivery.

The role requires strong vendor negotiation, price analysis and PO administration, with focus on ensuring compliance and excellent internal customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3-5 years experience in procurement or related field.
• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management or related field.
• Experience with vendor negotiation and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Discuss price, delivery and vendor/supplier capability with internal customers.
• Researches and identifies potential vendors/suppliers.
• Negotiates price and delivery for responsible commodities.
• Administrates and maintains purchase orders in compliance with approved procedures.
• Establishes and maintains good vendor relationships and satisfies internal customers.
• Experience with CPSR documentation and compliance.
• Partners with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving as it relates to quality and order issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The position requires the incumbent to research and select vendors to solicit quotes and issue purchase order of medium dollar value and complexity supporting USG and Non-USG contracts. Typical procurements relate to less complex build-to-print assemblies that require specifications and drawings and COTS software licenses.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Discuss price, delivery and vendor/supplier capability with internal customers
• Researches and identifies potential vendors/suppliers
• Negotiates price and delivery for responsible commodities
• Administrates and maintains purchase orders in compliance with approved procedures
• Establishes and maintains good vendor relationships and satisfies internal customers
• Experience with purchase order file documentation that is fully compliant with all required elements to maintain a successful Contractor Purchasing Systems Review (CPSR)
• Partners with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving as it relates to poor quality, order inconsistences and damaged products
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High school diploma and 3-5 years experience; or BA/BS Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operation Management or related field.

Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection/ usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

• Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
