Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a procurement professional to research and solicit quotes, issue purchase orders for USG and Non-USG contracts, and manage build-to-print assemblies with COTS software licenses.

You will discuss price, delivery, and vendor capability with internal customers, maintain CPSR-compliant documentation, and collaborate with supplier quality and shipping teams to ensure timely, accurate procurements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 3–5 years experience; or BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain.
  • Background in Management, Finance, or Operations Management or related field.
  • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss price, delivery, and vendor/supplier capability with internal customers.
  • Researches and identifies potential vendors/suppliers.
  • Negotiates price and delivery for responsible commodities.
  • Administrates and maintains purchase orders in compliance with approved procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains good vendor relationships and satisfies internal customers.
  • Experience with purchase order file documentation that is CPSR compliant.
  • Partners with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving regarding quality issues.
  • Ability to complete moderately complex price analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Summary

The position requires the incumbent to research and select vendors to solicit quotes and issue purchase order of medium dollar value and complexity supporting USG and Non USG contracts. Typical procurements relate to less complex build-to-print assemblies that require specifications and drawings and COTS software licenses.

  • Experience with purchase order file documentation that is fully compliant with all required elements to maintain a successful Contractor Purchasing Systems Review (CPSR)
  • Partners with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving as it relates to poor quality, order inconsistences and damaged products
  • Ability to complete moderately complex price analysis
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications And Education Requirements
  • High school diploma and 3–5 years experience; or BA/BS Business, Supply Chain
  • Management, Finance, Operation Management or related field.
  • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance
Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a controlled environment with almost no exposure to disagreeable environment conditions.
