Job summary

BizLink Technology, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a procurement professional to manage MRP, ensure material availability for MPS, and optimize supplier terms and costs. You will oversee POs, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing while maintaining data integrity across planning parameters.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement with vendor negotiation experience, APICS/ISM certification preferred, and SAP familiarity. On-site position within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• APICS or ISM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to align with production demand.
• Monitor and maintain material pipeline to meet MRP requirements; proactively identify supply issues.
• Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with on-time delivery.
• Negotiate supplier terms to minimize material liability and optimize costs.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders in line with pricing and terms.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contracts and performance expectations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for CNC parts, sheet metal, PCBs, and electronic components.
• Optimize order management to improve supplier communication and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters to balance procurement costs and inventory.
• Monitor supplier performance in delivery and quality; lead corrective actions for issues.
• Contribute to commodity and pricing strategies with Buyers, Managers, and Supply Chain teams.
• Provide insights on supplier performance and support strategic sourcing.
• Resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
• Use data analytics to optimize inventory and supplier spend.

• Monitor and maintain material pipeline to meet MRP requirements; proactively identify and resolve supply issues.
• Ensure material availability to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) through on‑time delivery and coordination from receiving to production.
• Execute and leverage negotiated supplier terms to minimize material liability and optimize cost efficiency.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders in accordance with agreed pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure supplier compliance with contractual agreements and performance expectations.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for CNC machined parts, sheet metal components, PCB assemblies, and electronic components.
• Optimize order management processes to enhance supplier communication and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate master data and planning parameters to balance procurement costs with inventory levels.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance in delivery and quality; lead corrective actions for recurring or critical issues.
• Contribute to commodity and pricing strategies; collaborate closely with Buyers,
• Managers, and Supply Chain teams.
• Provide insights on supplier performance and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Resolve any price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues with suppliers.
• Leverage data analytics to optimize excess inventory disposition, scale strategic stocking programs, and maximize supplier spend value.
• Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience with demonstrated vendor negotiation skills.
• APICS or ISM certification (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with an SAP system is desirable.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Salary Description

$81,000 - $90,000
