Job summary

Artha Nexgen is seeking a procurement professional to analyze and manage MRP-driven material requirements, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time material availability for production. You will negotiate terms, issue POs, and optimize supplier communications within the BizLink framework.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with SCM systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive procurement/purchasing experience with demonstrated vendor negotiation skills.
  • APICS or ISM certification (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, maintains, and executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).
  • Continuously monitors and verifies material pipeline to meet MRP requirements; addresses supply issues.
  • Ensures material availability to support production per Master Production Schedule through MRP execution and coordination of materials movement.
  • Executes and maximizes BizLink negotiated terms with suppliers to reduce material liability.
  • Issues Purchase Orders per negotiated pricing and terms.
  • Ensures suppliers’ adherence to established agreements.
  • Identifies, selects, and negotiates with suppliers for CNC machined parts, sheet metal components, PCB assemblies, and electronic components.
  • Optimizes order management process for effective supplier communication.
  • Maintains integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters to balance procurement cost with inventory levels.
  • Monitors and improves supplier delivery and quality performance; resolves issues with corrective actions.
  • Contributes inputs to BizLink’s commodity and pricing strategy; provides feedback on supplier performance.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job description

  • Analyzes, maintains, and executes Materials Requirement Plan (MRP).
  • Continuously monitors and verifies material pipeline to ensure it meets the MRP requirements. Identifies and appropriately addresses materials supply issues.
  • Ensures materials availability to support production per the Master Production Schedule through MRP execution, on-time delivery, and coordination of materials movement from receiving to production.
  • Executes and maximizes BizLink negotiated terms with suppliers to reduce materials liability.
  • Issues Purchase Orders to pricing, terms and conditions negotiated and agreed to by Managers and Buyers.
  • Ensures suppliers’ adherence to established agreements.
  • Identify, select, and negotiate with suppliers for CNC machined parts, sheet metal components, PCB assemblies, and electronic components.
  • Optimizes order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers.
  • Maintains integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters to minimize material liability and to balance the cost of procurement with inventory investment levels.
  • Monitors and continuously improves supplier’s delivery and quality performance. Resolve recurring or critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools and additional resources.
  • Provides inputs to drive and execute BizLink’s commodity and pricing strategy. Works closely with Buyers, Managers, & SCM. Provides feedback on supplier performance and BizLink’s strategies. Minimizes material freight expenses for BizLink.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
