Performance Food Group (New) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an organized purchasing coordinator to support supplier coordination and inventory management for our foodservice distribution network.

You will maintain in-stock levels, assist with demand planning, and work with the sales team to fulfill national and regional orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of office/administrative experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's in Business, supply chain or related area.
• 1–2 years purchasing experience or planning.
• 2–4 years purchasing or related area in foodservice.
• Experience with replenishment and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains multi-line product replenishment from vendors.
• Maintains inventory levels to ensure service levels for customers and sales force.
• Communicates with sales, customers, and vendors on market conditions, delivery schedules, and product info.
• Works in a team environment and independently as required.
• Develops relationships that foster openness, candor, and trust.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Coordinate with suppliers of product to ensure adequate supply of high quality products contracted by National and Regional chain customers for Foodservice Distribution. Maintain established service levels for product in-stock. Assist with special order requests. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains multi line product replenishment from vendors.
• Maintains adequate inventory levels to ensure superior service levels to customers and sales force through use of industry standard Best Practices procedures.
• Interacts and communicates both written and verbally with sales force, customers, and vendors in a timely and informative manner on market conditions, delivery schedules and product information.
• Works in an environment that requires teamwork and the ability to work independently to maintain required job parameters.
• Develops interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor, and trust, both internally and externally.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
