Job summary

Performance Food Group through Performance Foodservice is seeking an organized coordinator to ensure stock and supplier coordination for national and regional foodservice customers. Coordinate inventory and assist with special requests to support the distribution network.

The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers and the sales team, while maintaining service levels and timely communication in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years office/administrative experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, supply chain or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years purchasing experience or planning (preferred).
• 2–4 years purchasing or related experience in foodservice (preferred).
• Experience with replenishment and forecasting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains multi line product replenishment from vendors.
• Maintains adequate inventory levels to ensure superior service levels to customers and sales force through use of industry standard Best Practices procedures.
• Interacts and communicates both written and verbally with sales force, customers, and vendors in a timely and informative manner on market conditions, delivery schedules and product information.
• Works in an environment that requires teamwork and the ability to work independently to maintain required job parameters.
• Develops interpersonal relationships which encourage openness, candor, and trust, both internally and externally.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Coordinate with suppliers of product to ensure adequate supply of high quality products contracted by National and Regional chain customers for Foodservice Distribution. Maintain established service levels for product in-stock. Assist with special order requests. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
