Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of purchasing, buyer/planner, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Source materials and components from qualified suppliers at favorable terms.
• Manage purchase orders and monitor inventory to support production.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, monitor performance, quality, and service levels.
• Collaborate with planning, scheduling, production, quality, receiving, and shipping to resolve issues.
• Support forecasting and cost-reduction initiatives through vendor negotiations and process improvements.

Salary: $24-29/hr

Manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure materials are available to support production schedules. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while evaluating performance, quality, and service levels. Collaborate with planning, scheduling, production, quality, receiving, and shipping teams to resolve supply chain issues. Review purchasing and ERP data to identify shortages, support forecasting efforts, and improve inventory efficiency. Support cost-reduction initiatives through vendor negotiations, process improvements, and strategic sourcing activities.

To be a champion in this role, you will need: High School Diploma required, and an Associate degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus. 5+ years of experience in purchasing, buyer/planner, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
