Job summary

Mount Indie in San Diego, CA is seeking a Buyer to support our production and purchasing teams across multiple product families. You will drive sourcing, quoting, placing, and tracking of critical components while partnering with engineering and operations to understand needs and identify purchasing solutions.

The role requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations with at least 3 years in purchasing or supply chain.

Qualifications

• Strong, clear interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers.
• Comfort discussing and negotiating pricing, timelines, and expectations with suppliers.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of integrity.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
• At least 3 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (defense, aerospace, or manufacturing experience a plus)

This is an opportunity to work closely with Operations and Engineering teams providing support for growing manufacturing capabilities and supply chain operations. In this role, you will support the company’s full business purchasing and production teams across multiple product families.
