Job summary

DO & CO AG in Miami, FL seeks a dynamic Buyer to manage daily to monthly purchasing operations in the food & beverage sector. You will coordinate deliveries, approve invoices, and maintain inventory levels while ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams; nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

• Hands-on approach to ensure on-time flight dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily/weekly/monthly purchase orders and coordinate with receivers/buyers.
• Authorize payments by reviewing invoices and documentation.
• Maintain proper inventory levels aligned with goals and update ERP records.
• Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, specs) and report variances.
• Input delivery reports and register goods in Navision; update order status.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily/weekly/monthly purchase orders.
• Facilitate approval and ensure accuracy of deliveries in coordination with receivers/buyers.
• Authorize payments by reviewing invoices/documentation.
• Maintain proper inventory levels aligned with inventory goals.
• Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, and specs).
• Input delivery reports (CCP) and register goods in Navision.
• Monitor CCP1 quality and correct receivers as needed.
• Follow up on open POs; clear void POs in ERP.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and food safety.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Participate in creating policies and procedures.
• Update inventory and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Process requisitions and update management on order status.
• Assess quality of incoming stock; escalate discrepancies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
