Job summary

Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Buyer for a global manufacturer. You will manage purchasing, MRP, and supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and production support. A bachelor’s degree and SAP experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities include developing material strategies, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve scheduling issues using SAP MRP. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with MRP systems – SAP preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Excellent supplier communication and relationship-management abilities.

Are you an experienced Buyer who knows how to keep materials moving, suppliers accountable, and production schedules on track? Join a well-established global manufacturer where your purchasing decisions will directly support daily plant operations.

As the Buyer, you will manage component and material requirements, maintain inventory levels, and develop strong supplier relationships. You’ll use SAP and MRP data to anticipate demand, place orders, resolve scheduling issues, and ensure on-time delivery. A bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field and experience with SAP are huge pluses!

What you’ll do as the Buyer:
