Aston Carter is seeking a Buyer for an on-site role in Long Beach, CA. You will source materials, manage supplier relationships, and coordinate with Engineering and R&D to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate PO tracking within our ERP system.

The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain management, ERP proficiency, and strong Excel skills, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6+ years of overall experience.

Job Title: BuyerJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Buyer who will be responsible for sourcing materials by evaluating vendor capabilities, prices, delivery needs, and performance. The Buyer will ensure on-time delivery of materials, manage business relationships with assigned suppliers, and oversee the RFQ process to secure competitive bids. This role requires close integration with Engineering teams to fulfill procurement requirements and act as the primary point of contact for R&D order status. The Buyer will also provide purchase order status updates to material planners, negotiate terms with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements, and maintain purchase order data within our ERP system.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $43.00/hr.
