Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support superior customer service in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prepare purchase orders and manage procurement records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in procurement processes.
  • Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items.
  • Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
  • Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid.
  • Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
  • Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
  • Expedites delivery of goods to users.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Positively responds to all customer concerns and issues to promote a return visit.
  • Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co‑worker.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Access, Word, SharePoint, etc.).
Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
