Job Summary

The Procurement Support role involves assisting with or performing duties such as issuing purchase orders, selecting and negotiating with vendors, evaluating vendor reliability, obtaining materials at the lowest cost while considering quality and urgency, supporting deliveries, and expediting shipments. The role requires knowledge of the bidding process, maintaining accurate records, setting up vendors through the prequalification system, maintaining vendor relations, and conducting industry research.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GEP
• Problem-solving and analytical skills

Additional Job Duties

Review customer requisitions, process purchase orders in SAP, establish and maintain contracts, negotiate with vendors, manage the vendor base, analyze procurement patterns, and support special projects and procurement on-call support. Responsibilities also include market analysis, vendor evaluation, bid solicitation, proposal analysis, dispute resolution, and maintaining ethical standards.
