Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Buyer to support direct purchasing in a stable manufacturing environment. You will manage the full purchasing cycle from PO creation through delivery, using SAP/MRP to convert requisitions into orders and expedite as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of buying experience, strong SAP skills, and the ability to work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate procurement data.

About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, well-established manufacturing organization and make a meaningful impact in a short period of time. You’ll be part of a collaborative procurement team supporting direct purchasing and ensuring materials are available to keep operations running smoothly.The ideal candidate is a hands-on Buyer who is comfortable working in SAP/MRP, managing suppliers, and taking ownership of the purchasing process from purchase order creation through delivery.What You’ll DoReview purchase requisitions and convert requirements into purchase orders through MRP.Create, place, confirm, and manage purchase orders.Monitor and expedite orders to ensure on-time material delivery.Evaluate MRP requirements to determine what materials need to be purchased and when.Partner with suppliers and internal teams to resolve supply, purchasing, and invoice discrepancies.Monitor inventory and analyze backorders, cost variances, and supplier fulfillment issues.Maintain accurate purchasing and supply chain data within SAP/ERP systems.Calculate and report key inventory and procurement performance metrics.Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Accounting/AP, and suppliers.What You’ll Bring1+ year of Buyer/purchasing experience.Manufacturing purchasing experience strongly preferred.Hands-on SAP experience within purchasing/procurement, including MRP.Ability to identify and work with SAP transaction codes (T-codes).Experience managing the full purchasing process, including POs, vendor confirmations, expediting, and issue resolution.Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and ownership skills.Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Nice to have: 3+ years of buying experience, advanced Excel skills, experience purchasing materials/components from outside vendors, or previous contract/project experience.A degree is not required—relevant Buyer and SAP experience are the priority.Why Consider This Role?Make a big impact quickly in a role where your work directly supports business operations.Join a stable company with an established manufacturing environment.Work within a collaborative, team-oriented culture where departments partner closely.Gain valuable experience supporting procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.If you're an experienced Buyer with strong SAP/MRP skills and want to step into a role where you can contribute immediately, this is a great opportunity to make an impact from day one.
