9fin is the AI platform powering global debt markets, serving 300+ blue-chip institutions with a scalable platform for credit data, analysis, and workflows.

The Forward Deployed Investor role sits with the buy-side client teams, translating investment workflows into AI-enabled processes and influencing the product roadmap through frontline insights. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and risk teams to drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practitioner experience at an asset manager, credit fund, or insurer.
• Fluency across end-to-end investment workflows in your area.
• Experience in one or more domains: credit portfolio management, private credit, CLOs, or distressed credit.
• Experience with AI, data, or workflow technology in credit investing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Map investment workflows and identify the highest-value insertion points where AI can change the workflow.
• Build AI into the identified workflows using 9fin's toolkit and integrations.
• Drive adoption at served accounts by onboarding users and running enablement sessions.
• Capture field intelligence to inform product roadmaps and GTM assets.
• Spot opportunities for expansion within accounts and coordinate with account management.
