Job summary

Select Milk Producers, Inc. oversees the butter department’s daily operation and production scheduling, ensuring a smooth workflow and product quality. The role includes supervising staff, monitoring sanitation, and maintaining compliance with GMP and safety standards within a dairy processing facility.

You will work closely with plant management to optimize throughput, manage overtime, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to support reliable, high‑quality butter production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Dairy or Food Science with 4+ years in a Plant leadership role.
• Experience supervising a production or butter/dairy processing area.
• Strong leadership and training ability.
• Proficient in data input and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and production schedule of the butter department.
• Review CIP records daily and monitor sanitation.
• Monitor employees and overtime; communicate needs to management.
• Lead safety, quality and GMP compliance within the butter room.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency.
