Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Churn Operator to join our production team. You will operate and monitor butter churns, assist packaging, and maintain quality and production records in a clean, safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred and production experience desirable.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to perform basic arithmetic and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor three butter churns to ensure efficient and consistent production.
• Assist with butter packaging, box assembly and stacking operations.
• Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
• Perform quality control procedures, including testing and adjusting butterfat, moisture, and salt levels.
• Provide relief support in packaging and stacking areas to maintain continuous production flow.
• Assist in the clean-up of all butter production equipment and maintain plant housekeeping.
• Report any food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMP and all regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
