Select Milk Producers is seeking a Butter Packaging Operator to join our team in Texas. You will ensure proper packaging of butter, maintain sanitation, and monitor the line to uphold quality standards. You will also troubleshoot minor issues, assist with training, and help keep the packaging area compliant with USDA readiness.

Guidelines include following GMP, safety procedures, and accurate charting. GED or high school diploma is required; experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe, efficient manner and follow safety procedures.
• Able to troubleshoot minor process issues with guidance.
• Cross-train on churn and related packaging functions.
• Operate packaging equipment and maintain accurate charts.
• Support GMP and sanitation practices in a production environment.
• Understand and follow food safety and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Butter packaging properly and account for inventory produced.
• Observe machine operations to ensure product quality.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the packaging area.
• Monitor production line for jams, pileups or misfeeds.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Change and seal unacceptable packages during the shift.
• Keep packaging room USDA readiness and test runs compliant.
• Report equipment damage or unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Assist in training of new personnel and document processes.
• Follow all safety, GMP rules and company policies.
