Job summary

UDA - United Dairymen of Arizona is seeking a Packaging Operator to efficiently operate Ava/Sapac, Lactose, and Butter packaging systems, ensuring production standards for pounds and bags per hour. You will perform start-up/shut-down, maintain records, and uphold HACCP and GMP policies on a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities include operating butter packaging, palletizing, case packing, and ensuring clean, sanitary conditions in the warehouse and packaging areas, with adherence to SOPs and safety

Qualifications

Ability to read, hear, speak, write, comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions and SOPs in English.
Must be able to maintain weights, start times and production records accurately.
Experience with packaging and food manufacturing processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Operate packaging equipment to meet pounds per hour and bags per hour targets.
Start-up and shut-down of various packaging components and related equipment.
Hand pack 55lb cases of butter and palletize in correct configuration.
Shrink wrap and prepare products for shipping and storage.
Maintain clean and sanitary work area and accurate record-keeping.
