Job summary

Grassland Dairy Products, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator in West Point, NE to monitor and operate packaging equipment for butter products. You will maintain a neat work area, perform sanitation, and ensure quality control while meeting efficiency standards.

The role requires teamwork and English communication to follow SOPs. The shift runs 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule with a $20.70/hour base pay plus $1.00 shift differential and a $2,000 hire bonus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year manufacturing/machine operation experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, safety and quality assurance practices.
• Verify quality control items such as weights, coding, packaging.
• Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and sanitizing of print and packaging equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation in all record keeping formats.
• Operate print & packaging equipment to fulfill plant demands.
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.
• Backfill to other positions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
