Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a butcher.
• Knowledge of grades of meat.
• Knowledge of HACCP plan and Servsafe principles.
• Positive attitude and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats (beef, pork, poultry, fish) for cooking forms.
• Shape and tie roasts using boning knife and twine.
• Cure, smoke, tenderize and preserve meat.
• Maintain safe, clean meat department complying with safety standards.
• Assist with inventory, price accuracy, and supplier relations.
• Record meat received/issued and monitor inventory levels in SMS.
• Support daily operations and cross‑department collaboration.
