Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is seeking a Steakhouse Busser/SA to maintain the cleanliness of the buffet area, restock dining areas with tableware, utensils, condiments and linen, and ensure adequate supplies while the venue is open.

You will perform opening/closing side duties, stock ice and paper supplies, monitor guest floor cleanliness, and retrieve tables and trays with guest safety in mind. This role requires teamwork on a busy casino floor and a willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing side duties and set up supplies.
• Stock ice and paper supplies.
• Monitor guest floor cleanliness and clear trays.
• Retrieve tables and trays while ensuring guest safety.
• Breakdown dirty trays and carts; organize waste.
• Maintain par stocks of condiments, china, glassware and silverware in BOH.
• Restock refrigerators and freezers in the work area daily.
• Follow supervisor directions and complete additional tasks as needed.
• Check in with supervisor before leaving at end of shift.

Job Description

Steakhouse Busser/SA

Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of the buffet area, including all tables. Restocks the dining area and side stations with tableware, flatware, utensils, condiments and linen. Always maintain adequate supplies in the side station when the venue is open.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing side duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
• Stock ice and paper supplies
• Monitor cleanliness of guest floor corridors and clears floor of all table and trays
• Retrieve tables/ trays from guest floor corridors always taking guest safety into account
• Breakdown all dirty trays & carts (organized by trash, china, glass and silverware)
• Maintain par stocks of food (condiments etc.), china, glassware and silverware in the BOH on daily basis
• Restock refrigerators & freezers in work area daily
• Complete weekly clean schedule of IRD equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift. Practicing clean as you go
• Notify management of any maintenance repair issues
• Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
• Check with supervisor before leaving at end of shift

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of related experience preferred
• Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Additional Details

Work Environment:

• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional kitchen setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino‑related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
