Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring Busser, Runner, or Service Assistant for dine-in and takeout operations in Mission Viejo, CA.

Training will be provided, and no prior experience is required. You will support food service, clear tables, run food, and assist with catering orders, delivering a friendly, guest-focused experience. Competitive hourly pay ranging with tips, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.
• Previous experience is not required - we will train you!
• Must be able to operate kitchen equipment, including the coffee machine, iced tea machine, lemon slicer, POS system and other equipment.
• Has a current Food Handler’s Card or we will help obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Guiding guests through their experience while taking, placing, and reviewing orders for takeout and catering.
• Understands the restaurant menu to identify items for takeout and catering and can guide guests in choosing menu items.
• Review orders at pickup or delivery and ensure order accuracy.
• Deliver an exceptional hospitality experience to guests, anticipating and exceeding expectations.
• Clear and sanitize restaurant tables, bussing dishes and resetting tables as needed.
• Restock, clean, and maintain all restaurant stations.
• Understand seating layout and how to deliver food within the restaurant.
• Serve food or beverages for dine-in and takeout.
