Job Description: Busser/Server Assistant

Summary

A Busser/Server Assistant is attentive to guests' needs at all times and works closely with the restaurant team to ensure that tables are clean, set, and ready, helping to create a positive and memorable guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensure the dining room looks neat and presentable.
2. Arrange tables for large parties and prepare for large parties.
3. Observe seated guests and alert servers if guests need refills or other assistance.
4. Check restrooms at least every hour to ensure they are clean and stocked.
5. Maintain building exterior by cleaning sidewalks, landscaping, and parking lots as requested.
6. Maintain a safe work area by cleaning up dining room and service aisle spills.
7. Complete opening and/or closing duties as assigned.
8. Assist with servers and other team members as requested.
9. Perform all other duties or special projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, customer-responsive environment.
2. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
3. Maintain professional conduct at all times.
4. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
5. Minimum lifting, pushing, and pulling of 40 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
6. Physical abilities including pushing, bending, stooping, walking, reaching, manual dexterity, and sensory perception.
