Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler’s card (onsite certification provided).
• Able to stand and move quickly for an 8–10 hour shift.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in a smoking environment on the casino floor.
• Willing to follow health and safety measures (PPE).

Position Summary:

A Food Runner/Busser is the core support staff member of the restaurant and responsible for table maintenance as directed. Bussing, running food, assisting with wait staff and barback duties as directed. The expeditor coordinates communication between the kitchen and servers, ensuring a seamless and superior guest experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Set up and maintain the expedition side of the line.
• Set up and maintain server station drink receptacles including filling ice.
• Maintain stock of all NA beverage and paper goods.
• Bring up requisitions from the cage and warehouse and put items away to ensure organization.
• Take direction from servers and bartenders to assist in table maintenance.
• Communicate between the kitchen and the service staff to ensure quality and accuracy of orders.
• Know restaurant seat table and seat numbers no matter the configuration of tables.
• Clear, reset, and arrange tables as required.
• Ensure all sanitation and food safety practices are being followed by the FOH including but not limited to refreshing sanitizer buckets and practicing proper cleaning methods.
• Possess intimate knowledge off all food offerings to ensure consistency in product.
• Run food following proper service methods.
• Prepare left-over food for takeout as needed.
• Complete side duties as required including, but not limited to, polishing silverware, restaurant set up, and filling of condiments.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD**).**
• Valid Food Handler’s card (onsite certification provided).
• Must be able to stand and move quickly for an 8-10-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment when on the casino floor.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures (wear a face mask, social distance, or other PPE).
