Job summary

PopStroke in Tuscaloosa, AL is hiring entry-level restaurant team members to support dining and bar operations. You will clear tables, serve guests, assist with mobile ordering, and help deliver great hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

This non-exempt, part-time role offers hourly pay plus tips, weekend and holiday shifts, and opportunities to grow with a values-driven team. You must be able to stand, lift up to 30 lbs, and work indoors or outdoors.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the restaurant and bar operations.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables, refill beverages, and polish silverware.
• Assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app.
• Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Accurately utilize technology to efficiently complete food pick up and drop off service.
• Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas, including the gaming area and restrooms. Restock service stations and restrooms.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning and/or stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture and removing trash.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to requests.
• Uphold safety and sanitation principles at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
