Job summary

PopStroke in Sarasota, FL is seeking a friendly server to join our team. You will support restaurant and bar operations, take care of guests, transport orders, and help keep dining and gaming areas clean.

This on-site position requires weekend and holiday availability, strong communication, and teamwork to ensure a great guest experience. As a non-exempt role with hourly pay plus tips, you’ll interact with guests in indoor and outdoor settings, maintain high sanitation standards, and contribute

Responsibilities

• Support the restaurant and bar operations.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables, refill beverages, and polish silverware.
• Assist guests with PopStroke mobile ordering app.
• Run food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner, ensuring great customer service, accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Accurately utilize technology to efficiently complete food pick up and drop off service.
• Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant areas, including the gaming area and restrooms. Restock service stations and restrooms.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures by cleaning and/or stacking chairs and tables, sweeping floors, setting up outdoor furniture and removing trash.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding promptly to requests.
• Uphold safety and sanitation principles at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and multiple plates from the kitchen to tables.
• Must be able to safely use a ladder.
