Job summary

The Seaport Hotel in Boston is seeking a friendly Bus Person to support our restaurant team by clearing and setting tables, replenishing service areas, and assisting servers. You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked dining room and contribute to a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts include morning and afternoon/evening hours with regular weekend attendance; hospitality cycles require flexibility. CPR/Heimlich training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must provide friendly, prompt guest service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Clear, set, and clear tables to support servers.
• Provide beverage and food service support to servers.
• Keep the restaurant clean and orderly.
• Move tables and chairs as needed for setup and turnover.
• Coordinate linen stocking with laundry operations.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.
• Stock stations with china, glass, linen, and silver.
• Serve water, bread, and beverages; assist outlets as needed.
• Support Mission and Values in daily operations; perform duties per supervision.
• Complete any duties or projects assigned by the Food and Beverage manager.
