Job summary

Zingaro– Italian Restaurant And Bar in Cincinnati is hiring for a runner/busser role to provide warm, timely hospitality and to support servers and bartenders. You will help deliver dishes, reset tables and maintain a clean dining area.

The position requires passion for food, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Competitive base wage with tips and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner.
• Ensure that guest’s feel important and welcome in the restaurant.
• Deliver food to the appropriate table, announcing each dish.
• Pre-bus and clean tables.
• Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed.
• Stock server stations and the bar as needed.
• Ability to transition between runner and busser duties based upon service needs and/or guest needs.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team-members and all guests.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
