Job summary

Zingaro— Italian Restaurant and Bar in Cincinnati, OH, is hiring for service team members. Base wage is $5.50/hour plus tips, with a guaranteed minimum of $11.00/hour according to wage laws, and the potential to earn more from gratuities.

You will provide warm, authentic hospitality, deliver dishes, bussing and runner duties when needed, assist servers and bartenders, stock stations, and help maintain safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner.
• Ensure that guest's feel important and welcome in the restaurant.
• Deliver food to the appropriate table, announcing each dish.
• Pre-bus and clean tables.
• Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed.
• Stock server stations and the bar as needed.
• Ability to transition between runner and busser duties based upon service needs and/or guest needs.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team-members and all guests.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
