129 Boardwalk 1000 LLC is seeking a busperson to maintain dining area cleanliness, assist servers, and support guest satisfaction at our New Jersey location. The role includes setting up server stations, restocking condiments, and ensuring proper place settings for guests throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or busperson role preferred.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Set up/replenish server stations with polished china, glassware, and silverware.
• Set up/replenish server stations with condiments for service.
• Ensure place settings include napkins and proper silverware for each guest.
• Utilize trays for pre-bussing and bussing tables with safety in mind.
• Deliver soiled china, glass, and silverware trays to the dish room and discard trash in designated bins.
• Bag and remove soiled linen to the designated area.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift and practice clean-as-you-go.
• Notify management of maintenance or repair issues.
• Complete additional requests from management.
• Assist with inventory management.

Job Description:

The busperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including all tables and chairs, while ensuring a positive guest experience. Removing anything from tables that is not being used or is no longer being used by the guest.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Set up/replenish server stations with polished china, glassware, and silverware
• Set up/replenish server stations with condiments for service
• Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, polished silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting
• Utilize trays for pre-bussing & bussing tables; all trays are to be organized with safety in mind
• All soiled china, glass, and silverware trays are to be delivered to the dish room, discarding all trash in designated bins
• All soiled linen is to be bagged up and removed to the designated area
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
• Notify management of any maintenance repair issues
• Complete any additional reasonable requests by management
• Managing inventory
