Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe in Washington, DC is seeking a team-oriented Busser to support the dining room operations. You will clear dirty tables, reset surfaces, sweep floors, and help maintain a clean, organized back dock area while assisting hosts, servers and fellow bussers to keep service smooth.

In addition to fast-paced teamwork and a sense of urgency, you may help with bar pre-mixes and guest beverage refills in some cafes; all duties contribute to a welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Clearing dirty tables.
• Resetting tables.
• Sweeping the floor.
• Emptying trash cans.
• Stocking ice/products.
• Maintaining a clean and organized back dock area.
• Pre-bussing tables.
• Having a sense of urgency.
• Assisting and communicating with hosts, servers and other bussers.
• In some Cafes: removing ketchups; refilling guests’ drinks and setting up bar pre- mixes.

Because of the business volume, bussers may be used at Hard Rock Cafe. They are directly responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant, which allows other departments to focus on the guests.
