Job summary

Lambertville Station Inn in Lambertville, NJ is seeking a team-oriented Busser. No prior experience required. On-site training is available and candidates must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, clearing and resetting tables, transporting tableware, and assisting servers during peak periods. The role requires physical activity and teamwork within a bustling diner environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in washing areas.
• Promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths between seating.
• Check floor and clean as required.
• Respond to guest requests appropriately.
• Communicate guest requests as needed.
• Coordinate with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.
• Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they leave.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation of the diner as directed by management.
