Job summary

Midwood Smokehouse is hiring a Busser at our Ballantyne - Toringdon Circle location in Charlotte, NC. Pay is up to $15.00 per hour plus tips. This role supports the hospitality team and offers a clear path to learning the fundamentals to progress toward a server position.

You will collaborate with servers and management to keep the dining area clean, ensure quick table turnover, and contribute to memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, barbecue-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to assist servers and maintain cleanliness.
• Ability to work with a fast-paced dining team.
• Willingness to learn to advance to server role.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Provide great guest service by assisting all servers in meeting the needs of our guests.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Assist servers, hosts, and managers in keeping the whole place spotless.
• Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are cleaned and reset quickly and that tables are clean and dry from top to bottom.
• Support Servers: Pre-buss tables to keep them clutter-free and ensure our guests are having an excellent barbecue experience.
• Efficient Operations: Communicate with servers and hosts to assure efficient seating, table utilization, and guest service.
• Proactive Support: Identify tasks that need to be done to support servers because they tip you out at the end of the night.
• Complete Side Work: Finish all side work and any extra duties assigned by your manager.
