Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures.
• Understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist coworkers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Greet guests as they are seated and present chips and salsa.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware.
• Between seating’s promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths; check floors/restrooms.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate to the server as needed.
• Assist server with food delivery, especially with large parties and peak periods.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Thank guests as they are leaving.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation by the manager.
