Mi Cocina Lakeside – Plano, TX is seeking a Busser to support wait staff and bartenders, ensuring smooth service. You will greet guests, deliver chips and salsa, and maintain a clean dining area. The job requires 17+ years of age and a customer‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 17 years of age.
• Restaurant experience in hospitality environment preferred, but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and chips & salsa.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload, sort and stack silverware, dishes, glassware, etc.
• Between seating’s promptly clean tabletops, chairs and booths. Check floor/bathrooms and clean as required.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests, communicating them to the server as needed.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Must maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Thank guests as they are leaving.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or director.
