Job summary

Mambo Seafood is seeking a Busser to maintain cleanliness of the dining room, bathrooms, and outdoor areas at our Houston restaurant. The role supports servers and kitchen staff, ensuring fast, friendly, and hygienic service in a high-volume setting.

The position requires a Food Handler Certificate and a team player mindset; English literacy is essential, with Spanish a plus. Competitive pay and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Ability to speak, write and read simple instructions in English.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required.
• Must have a Food Handler Certificate.
• Must be a team player and customer-service oriented.
• Prior food service industry and/or janitorial experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Practices the Company service principles.
• Sets up and/or breaks down beverage station and condiment area.
• Sorts dishes, glasses, and silverware.
• Assists cashier and bartenders in restocking their areas.
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms, cleans windows and takes garbage out when needed.
• Cleans floor areas inside and outside the restaurant, including parking lot, walkways, and patios.
• Cleans tables, chairs, high chairs, and booster seats before, after and throughout shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
