Job summary

The Ocean House Collection’s The Cafe in Westerly, RI is seeking a Busser / Expeditor for a full-time hourly role. You will support hosts and servers, clear tables, and ensure the timely flow of orders to the kitchen to maintain a smooth service.

Fluent English is required, and a High School Diploma is expected. Prior hotel or food-service experience is preferred; experience in a fine dining environment is helpful.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Clear used china, glass, and silverware from tables promptly after guests finish courses.
• Communicate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure smooth guest experience.
• Greet guests warmly and assist in service tasks.
• Assist in transporting dishes between kitchen and dining area.
• Support with replenishing beverages and utensils.
• Help deliver prepared food to tables and maintain service standards.
