Job summary

The ONE GROUP in Washington DC is seeking a Busser to maintain a clean, organized dining area and support servers, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food and beverage delivery, monitoring restrooms, and helping with setup while upholding health and sanitation standards to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude with a team-first mentality
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 20 lbs., and carry trays and stacked plates
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic English proficiency required for communication and guest interactions

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet guests and provide water service upon seating
• Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including floors, chairs, and booths
• Assist servers in delivering food and beverages, especially during peak times and with large parties
• Monitor assigned restroom areas, ensuring cleanliness and restocking as needed
• Communicate with hosts and servers to maintain efficient seating and table turnover
• Respond promptly to guest requests and notify servers of any special needs
• Handle tableware and dishware with care, transporting items to the dishwashing area
• Assist with the overall restaurant setup, cleaning, and side work as needed
• Follow all health and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
