Job Description

A Busser, known as Table Support at Eataly, assists food servers to maintain efficient service and create a memorable guest experience. Reports to the Restaurant Assistant General Manager.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, chairs, floors, dining areas, and service stations
• Pours and refills beverages as requested, including tap water, bottled water, juice, and sodas
• Serves and replenishes bread and olive oil upon request
• Communicates with hosts and servers to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Removes dirty dishes and silverware between courses and after guests leave
• Clears tables and transports used dishes, silverware, and glassware to designated areas
• Prepares tables for next guests by replacing used dishes and resetting tables
• Adheres to all standard steps of service as instructed
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a busser in a high-volume restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours
