Schweitzer in Sandpoint, Idaho seeks a friendly and reliable Busser for our dining team this seasonal period. You’ll keep tables clean, reset settings, restock supplies, and support servers to ensure a smooth, welcoming guest experience.

Availability nights and weekends is required; shifts typically 10:00am–4:00pm or 4:00pm–9:00pm. Join a team that values hospitality, teamwork, and a fun mountain environment.

Position Summary

The Busser supports the dining team by maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment, ensuring tables are properly set and cleared, and assisting with guest needs. This role contributes to a positive guest experience by promptly cleaning spills, restocking supplies, and helping with side work. Bussers also assist servers and help close the dining area at the end of the day. Must be available nights and weekends. The typical shift is 10:00am-4:00pm or 4:00pm-9:00pm.

Essential Functions And Major Responsibilities

• Quickly remove used dishes, utensils, and glassware, then clean and reset tables for the next guests.
• Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or condiments, and responding to guest needs promptly.
• Keep dining areas, floors, and service stations clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Ensure that items like napkins, utensils, and glassware are replenished regularly to support smooth service.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and contribute to a positive, efficient dining experience.

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
