Summary: Ensures tables are prepared for guests, cleans dining surfaces, backs up bartenders, and maintains bar stock and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Perform opening/closing liquor inventory and support bartenders with stock.
Anticipate bar needs and restock items proactively.
Maintain personal appearance and hygiene.
Assist with pre‑work stock and station setup.
Yield guest right of way and assist servers with seating and food delivery.
Clean and reset tables, chairs, booths, and floors after guests leave.
Inspect and clean restrooms every 15 minutes.
Respond to guest requests and communicate with servers and hostess.
Keep bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, ice, clean glassware and towels.
Sweep, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding areas.
Assist with beverage safety, change kegs, and restock mix ingredients.
Dispose of trash, wash glasses, and keep bar top sanitized.
Prepare bar for next shift (“close to open”).
