Job summary

The Tombs, part of Clyde's Restaurant Group, is seeking a friendly, hardworking busser to support quick-service dining near Georgetown University. The role offers flexible shifts—part-time, full-time, and on-call—with opportunities for training and advancement.

You will assist servers, reset tables to CRG standards, and maintain a clean dining area while enjoying dining discounts and access to a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Bus glasses, plates, silverware, and dining accessories from tables during service.
• Reset tables to Clyde's standards with linen, silverware and condiments.
• Assist servers by delivering water and refilling beverages; bussing tables as needed.
• Restock service areas, beverage stations and bars for service.
• Carry full bus pans to the kitchen and unload at the dishwasher.
• Fold napkins and carry them with tablecloths to service areas.
• Clean spills and sweep dining rooms; manage trash removal during shifts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A BUSSER

• Bus glasses, plates, silverware, and other dining accessories from tables during service and after customers leave the tables
• Reset tables to specific CRG standards with fresh linen, silverware, condiments, and other table accessories
• Assist servers by delivering water, refilling beverages, bussing tables, and carrying out customer and table server requests
• Restock service areas, beverage stations, and bars in the restaurant with glassware, silverware, linen, water, iced tea, condiments, bus pans, and other supplies needed for service
• Carry full bus pans from dining rooms to the kitchen; unload glasses, plates, and silverware at the dishwasher, and dump trash into the garbage can
• Fold napkins to be used for service and carry them to service areas along with tablecloths
• Clean up spills, trash, broken supplies, etc. made by front-of-the-house personnel and customers; sweep dining rooms throughout the shift, and carry trash from dining rooms and kitchen to trash removal areas
