Job summary

Over Easy in Sioux Falls is seeking a Busser to create a clean and welcoming environment for guests. This role involves keeping tables cleared and dining areas spotless, ensuring a comfortable dining experience from start to finish.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and assist the service team during busy periods. Over Easy values family and loyalty, offering competitive hourly rates and various perks for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer need.
• Clean and clear tables between seatings.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery.

Description

The Busser plays an essential role in creating a clean, welcoming environment for every guest at Over Easy. By keeping tables cleared, dining areas spotless, and supporting the service team, Bussers help ensure each guest enjoys a smooth and comfortable dining experience from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave.

• Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer need.
• Take tableware to the dish area and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. Assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bin and maintaining a clean dishwashing station.
• Clean and clear tables between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths, check floor and clean as required.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
