Responsibilities

• The Busser will work with servers to set tables, deliver items, remove used dishes, and maintain table upkeep.
• Ensure guests have a high-quality dining experience by keeping the dining area clean and serving food promptly.
• Prepare dining areas before seating, remove dirty utensils, and replenish them as needed.
• Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House staff and communicate guest feedback.
• Maintain health and safety regulations in all dining areas and assist other duties as assigned.

A Day The Life

The Busser will work with servers to set tables, deliver requested items, remove used dishes, and practice good table maintenance. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by keeping the dining area clean and serving food promptly and accurately.

• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware, and condiments
• Remove dirty utensils and replenish them as needed
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave
• Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff
• Maintain health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas
• Deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately
• Inform restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests (asking for the check etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by upper management

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state.
